Barrett's letter to Doyle

Here is the text of the letter.

He lists all of his favorite conspiracy theories in his "questionaire" that accompanies the short note.

Wow, that questionaire has almost as many conspiracy theories as Lobster.com (a website devoted to conspiracy theories). At least he did not repeat the conspiarcy theory that Saddam Hussien was in the paid by Bush to invade Kuwait. Look, even when this guy has a good point such as the Gulf of Tonkin fiasco, it is buried in a lot of irrational thinking. I have no confidence whatsovever that this person can deal with discussion of 9/11 or 7/7 conspiracy theories in an academically valid way. He sounds like a beliver, not an academic interested in discussing alternative points of view. Lake Winneblogo is right to say we should wait to see how he teaches the class, but I will bet good money that his syllabus will not be something that can be defended as academic or good teaching
