How about this? Professors anonymously berate their students.

Another anonymous faculty member somewhere decided that he was fed up with ratemyprofessor.com and struck back.

I have to say, that I've had the same concern when I've attended some classes. It seems that there are more students that really don't care if they make it to class much less read the syllabus. As a whole, though. I think UW-O has some very good profs. Maybe it is because I'm a non-trad. student, but I've only had one prof. that I thought really didn't merit the title.

There's a lot more at Rate Your Students than that. Most of the posts are about ways students and faculty can better communicate. You're not paying much attention. But your site is awfully groovy.

Thanks for your comments. Tony is right , in that the postings over at ratemystudents.com are far from simple rants. Instead, they discuss many of the reasons for negative comments at ratemyprofessor.com. Those who wrote also think about how we can solve some of the problems of student disengagement and negativity.

It is worth a look.
